Black Racism Exists. In fact, it has become a cottage industry for the likes of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Obama’s neighbors, Louis Farrakhan and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
But, dare we speak of it? Dare we say that phrase? Dare we talk about one of the most ugly, un-talked about and insidious problems in America today?
Dare we talk about black racism and how profitable it has become for so many Americans who enjoy playing the race card?
Not if you’re what is called the “mainstream media”. It is so UN-politically correct to suggest that there is even a hint of black racism in America. The liberal/socialist media never talks of it. And certainly, no one ever seems to talk about black racism against other minorities in the United States.
“In what passes for discussions on race these days, small problems are often blown up large, while real traumas are completely ignored. For instance, despite what President Clinton’s ‘Race Initiative’ panel has said, the very rawest racial conflicts in present-day America don’t even fit into the tidy mold of white-majority-oppressing-colored-minority that activists constantly promote. Though civil rights groups and most of the media studiously ignore this fact, the nation’s most fractious racial battles are now conflicts between minority populations. Particularly horrific is the animosity directed at Asian Americans by blacks in low-income areas of urban America.” United for a Multicultural Japan
Whenever black people do try to get the truth out, they’re labeled as “Uncle Tom’s” or other, similar synonyms.
“If a black person tells the truth — namely, that in 2007, 99% of black problems are self-inflicted — he is, like Bill Cosby and Thomas Sowell, dismissed as an Uncle Tom. If a white person tells the truth — namely, that with a 70% illegitimacy rate, no amount of government hand-outs will do anything but provide the cancer victim with a very expensive band-aid — he’s condemned as a racist.” Black racism by Burt Prelutsky
Probably the best analysis of the institutionalization of black racism is in the book “Hating Whitey” by David Horowitz. In a synopsis of the book it states:
“Ideological hatred of whites is now a growth industry, boosted by ‘civil rights’ activists and liberal academics. These once-youthful radicals, now entrenched in positions of power and influence, peddle a warmed-over version of the Marxist creed that supported the communist empire and excuses intolerance to the point of murder. Betraying the legacy of Martin Luther King, this unholy alliance of black civil rights leaders and white radicals threatens to undermine America’s moral, political, and economic institutions.”
And before anyone goes around screaming that David Horowitz is the next generation of the Klu Klux Klan, he isn’t. In fact, he’s a former confidante of the Black Panthers and a previously prominent liberal, socialist and former leftist. This man once had all the credentials that Barack Obama would love but real Americans would despise.
However, in his book, “Radical Son“, Mr. Horowitz documents his transformation from revolutionary to conservative.
What has helped “hating whitey” become an even bigger and more growing cottage industry, is the Presidency of Barack Obama.
“The glue that holds us together as a nation way well be stronger than the forces which attempt to pull us apart. Yet by pouring the acid of racial injustice and discord onto that glue, in the manner in which President Obama and his administration have done to date since taking office, the President risks pulling us all apart and violently so, ironically as the candidate and now-President who promised he would be our Super Glue when it came to establishing racial harmony in this troubled nation.” Obama, Gates, Crowley and That Black Panther Thing
“Race-baiters like Wright, Farrakhan, Sharpton and most likely Dr. Gates have made a cottage industry in America out of Hating Whitey. Quite profitable, too. Too juicy to give all that up? Even liberal white lefties like KOS and Jeanine Garofalo are in on the game. How sick is that?” Opinion: How President Obama is Damaging Race Relations in America
It is sick. Very sick. And obviously, very profitable. Especially now.

One must properly identify the problems before solutions are to be had. Liberals have been feeding blacks a truckload of manure for decades. I wish blacks could see the liberals are holding them in bondage.Liberals don’t care about them. What they care about is a strong voting bloc so they can stay in power.
Socialists are fond of claiming to be for the “poor” or the “less fortunate” but do little to alleviate their plight. You’re right, without these made-up “victims of society” the socialists & liberals would have no one to vote them into office.
You won’t get an argument from me regarding the profitability of being a civil rights leader like any of the aforementioned names. However, I think the idea of reverse racism is sort of a slippery slope. Also, I think the only person you could argue “hates whitey” out of the people you list would be Louis Farrakhan, but even that’s complicated. (Have you read the Malcolm X autobio? . . sorry, is that socialist reading material?)
Racism in this country doesn’t carry much weight if the racist party has zero oppressive power over the other. You can have the Black Panthers, Black Nationalists, Nation of Islam, etc. speaking out against whites, but what can these really do in the short term other than mobilize themselves and demonstrate?
Reverse racism isn’t going to hinder a white person’s efforts to get a job, a loan, or be at a disadvantage when sitting across the table from someone who has the decision making power that could have a positive or negative affect their life in some way. Racism in it’s conventional form will. How are whites, as a race of people, even remotely affected by reverse racism?
It may be a cottage industry for Sharpton to get people up in arms over incidences of perceived oppression or injustice, but he’s small potatoes in the grand scheme of our society. He’s at a disadvantage no matter how much publicity he gets.
You know, I can tell you didn’t check out any of those links I sent you. When you surround yourself with self-affirming points of view and information, the world’s a beautiful place, isn’t it? You talk like racism just simply doesn’t exist. I’d ask you if you thought that, but given your diatribe on the affects of REVERSE RACISM (which is a myth, dude…sorry), I don’t think you’d have anything of consequence to add to this discussion.
Feel free to surprise me, though!
P.S. Thomas Sowell is the man. I’m not sure if you’ve read him, but I’m about to finish his Basic Economics book. If you want your brain to grow, that’s an important book to read. As a bonus, he’s not an Obama fan and throws that big “S” word around quite a bit as well – though I’m less inclined to cringe when he does it.

Your welcome!
sublicon~ If Tessler is melodramatic as you say,you come across as a condescending elitist. You make for interesting reading though. I’m getting to looking forward to reading your and Tessler’s exchange.
Reverse racism is a myth? Not sure what “reverse racism” means. But hating whitey is definitely real; it definitely exists and is far more widespread than the liberal/socialist media is willing to admit.
damaminka: if you disagree with me, you may think a number of things about me that i’ll take with a grain of salt. i’m fine with all of it, though. i’d be less so if Tessler could show that his thought process was worthy of more respect. so far it’s cheap conspiracy theories and regurgitations of articles he’s read on Fox. (tess, i’m assuming you’re a dude – does that make me sexist?)
Tessler: Reverse racism . . whatever racism means to you, perpetrated onto the original perpetrator. The original perpetrator being whitey. Sounds like you need to do more research.
My point is, people can hate whitey all they want, but it’s sort of inconsequential in the grand scheme of things when whitey runs everything.
“(tess, i’m assuming you’re a dude – does that make me sexist?)”
Answer:
1. Yes
2. It is amazing how liberals accuse Americans of being sexist, racists and all other kinds of “ists” but don’t even know when they’re being that way themselves.
I was anticipating your previous logic that since I was assuming you were white, I was a racist. Hey man, it’s your thought process, not mine.
It is amazing conservatives like yourself accuse Americans of being communist, socialist and all other kinds of “ists” but don’t even know their definition let alone their applications in any kind of real context.
Allow me changing things up throw out an “ary” for you . . reactionary.
but sublicon~ are you saying Dr.Martin Luther King died for nothing? I happen to believe he is one of the great men of our times. You think he accomplished nothing? You say “whitey” runs everything. Those are pretty broad brushstrokes. Can you honestly look at today and the 50s and 60s and say nothing has changed?
Umm, let me answer your question with a question . . are you putting MLK in the same boat as Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan and Al Sharpton? I sure hope not.
I don’t view MLK as someone who should be put into the “hating whitey” column . . not by a long shot. He was a great man and showed a lot could be accomplished through peaceful demonstration. He was a completely different brand of civil rights activist, who I might add was ultimately martyred by whitey.
My point was, “hating whitey” is not a very fruitful platform. Whitey is in charge, you can hate him all you want, it’s not going to do much. Now, as to your other comment regarding Obama, yes he is the most powerful man in the country. But, the President of the United States does not pull the strings the aggregate minutia of every day life. He doesn’t approve bank loans, he doesn’t decide who is qualified for a job, and he doesn’t fund special interests . . whitey does. Believe it.
The idea that our racial problems are over because he’s in office is an extremely narrow view. He’s in charge, but he’s not in charge of everything. Not even GWB was . . let’s get real here. There’s a lot one can affect as President, but there’s even more that he can’t.
No one is saying that doesn’t exist. But what the post was all about is that “hating whitey” is a real problem in the United States that liberals and socialists refuse to address.
You have yet to make a coherent argument as to why it’s a “real problem.” I actually find it laughable that somebody wrote a book on “black racism” . . it’s a way to try to balance the scales, I guess. Futile effort, in my opinion.
by the way, sublicon.Last I checked whitey isn’t running the country. The most powerful man in the world at this time happens to be African-American.
Sublicon~ I think you missed my point.I agree that much in this country is predominately run by whites. No,I don’t put King in the same boat as Jackson, etc.Far from it.I’m saying that because of King alot has changed for the better since the 50′s.Yes,we still have a long way to go.And I realize President Obama doesn’t rule as a king would. My point is that just 60 years ago he would be sitting at the back of the bus rather than in the oval office.
Your point sort of goes without saying. People have been marveling over that reality for the past 10 months at least.
