What is it about Sarah Palin?
What is it about her that makes the liberals turn shades of purple with apoplexy and conservatives glow with hope and warmth? What is it about Sarah Palin that the lamestream media loves to hate and main stream Americans adore with a passion?
Its been a long time since I’ve seen an American so loathed by the elitists and so loved by the common folk. And while some may think her populism is hard to define, I think its very easy to see why Sarah Palin resonates.
In a phrase, the answer is simple: she’s every person.
She’s every parent who wanted their children to have more than what they had.
She’s every parent who unconditionally loves her children as only a parent can.
She’s every parent who has ever brought into the world that “special” someone that is a gift from God.
She’s every family who has ever had a loved one in the armed forces.
She’s every family who has ever had to make sacrifices in order to exist; in order to survive.
She’s every family who has had nearly irreparable crises, only to resolve it and come back stronger.
She’s every woman who knows hardship because she is a woman and carries on as only a woman can.
She’s every woman who knows that beauty, grace and attractiveness are defined by what’s on the inside of a person, not the outside.
She’s every woman who understands a woman’s special place in the world, as a woman was the Mother of God.
She’s every American who sees our country as a shining beacon of democracy and protector of the oppressed.
She’s every American who shares in continuing the positive, fulfilling dream of a great president, Ronald Reagan.
She’s every American who believes it is their duty to speak out when things are not right and to right all that is wrong.
She’s every man or woman who believes that doing your best is the only acceptable goal.
She’s every man or woman who knows the love of and the duty to, protect and care for the family.
She’s every man or woman who knows how important it is to show the tenderness of love.
She’s every person who loves America, no matter where they live.
She’s every person who dreams the American dream.
She’s every person who knows, that some day, we’ll take back our country.
