That Boat Won’t Float

George Soros, along with his mouthpiece site, Moveon.org, and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi all know it.

Its the public option provision in Obamacare that is giving him, his website, Reid, Pelosi and all their socialist lemmings fits. They want it. But are they going to get it?

Moveon.org has admitted that if the public option provision of Obamacare is left up to the states to decide (as in the Reid version of the bill), the states won’t want it. Which means the people don’t want it.

“The ‘opt-out’ version of the public option has real problems,” an e-mail from MoveOn.org said. “..the most conservative states in the country would likely opt out, potentially leaving millions of uninsured folks without access to the affordable health care a public option would provide.” Moveon.org Issues Warning to Democrats Opposed to ‘Public Option’

But make no mistake about it, Soros, Reid and Pelosi are doing their socialists best to shove the public option part of Obamacare down our collective throats.

Thankfully, we have at least one brave American Independent/Democrat, U.S. Senator in Joe Lieberman (CT), who won’t go for the public option. And his reasons for his opposition to it are sound:

“Lieberman said that he’d vote against a public option plan ‘even with an opt-out because it still creates a whole new government entitlement program for which taxpayers will be on the line.’” Joe Lieberman: I’ll block vote on Harry Reid’s plan

Effectively, Lieberman would join the Republicans in a filibuster that would prevent a vote on U.S. Senator Reid’s version of Obamacare.

And while Soros threatens reprisals against American Democrats who will not support the public option in Obamacare, Senator Reid scrambles to find socialist Democrats who will back Obamacare with a public option:

“Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.), who faces a tough reelection, said Tuesday she was reluctant to sign on with Reid’s plan, too. Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) won’t give any answer until he sees the final language.” Defections have some Democrats casting about for Plan B
And now, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is about to unveil her House’s version of Obamacare. And it is said that it is a less liberal (read: less socialistic) version of Reid’s plan.

Watching these socialist Democrats with their in-fightning is great. They can’t get their act together. They can’t float that boat. But I’m waiting for the Obama Chicago-style thug poltics attempt to Rahm it through. Rahm It, Slam It and Jam It
